Don't buy Windows again!

All Microsoft cares about is money. It doesn't want you to use Google. It doesn't want you to use Firefox. It doesn't give us the customizations and freedom we want.
Get Linux or BSD. Get a laptop or desktop that comes with either Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Mageia, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Linux distributions like those, or GhostBSD. There's also the illumos distribution OpenIndiana.
Linux is much more stable than Windows. Windows also goes into a blue screen of death, Linux doesn't.
Linux is more customizable than Windows. It can be customized according to the user's will.
Also, whether on Windows or not, don't get Microsoft Office. Get Google Docs or LibreOffice.
Linux shines over Windows in various other things. Don't get iTunes! Get an alternative that's available for Linux. Maybe get Google Play. Or get Clementine. There's also Amarok. I'm looking for alternatives that are licensed under three-clause BSD or MIT license. Do you think I'm exaggerating? Say so in the comment. Now spread the word! Sorry if I offend you with this post.
